Workout of the Day
Mary Rigney founded CrossFit Rockwall in August of 2007. She started training with CrossFit in January 2006 and is now certified as a CrossFit Level II trainer. She participated in the first annual CrossFit Games in Aromas, CA in July 2007 and received second place. Mary's passion for health and fitness began in high school and continued through college and beyond. While living in Florida, Mary ran group workouts to prepare female ROTC students for their military training. She also completed Marine Corps Officer Candidate School (OCS) in Quantico, VA, although her commission into the Marine Corps did not go through. After graduating from the University of Florida with a degree in Aerospace Engineering, she moved to Texas and has recently resigned from her position as an engineer to train and operate CrossFit Rockwall full time.
